Prayer & Prophetic Ministires
What is prophetic ministry?
Basic Prophetic ministry is all about speaking words of encouragement, edification, comfort, and strength in the spirit of 1 Corinthians 14:1 and 3: “Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy . . . He who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.” All prophecy should build you up and encourage you to go forward in your relationship with the Lord or bring comfort in a difficult situation.
How do you facilitate it at The Springs?
Trained members of The Springs staff & ministry team serve all those who come forward for prayer at any of our services and events as well as those who sign up to receive prophetic ministry. We sincerely desire to hear from the Lord on behalf of those coming for ministry, so that they may be encouraged and built up in their faith. We invite you to come receive a word from our prophetic ministry teams at the end of Sunday Services. Also, prophetic ministry happens the last Sunday Night of the month during our Heart House.
Can I learn to prophecy?
While some people will be called as prophets and some will be called to prophetic ministry on a larger scale, we believe that every Christian can learn to flow in basic prophecy. Paul said, "I wish you all spoke with tongues…even more that you prophesied…You can all prophesy. (1 Cor. 14:5, 31)" At The Springs, we
offer multiple equip classes and training opportunities to both educate and activate you in the prophetic ministry. Contact us for the dates of the next Prophetic class or training or for more information.
Other Prayer Ministries
Harp & Bowl
The Springs in is the process of training people to be equipped for Harp & Bowl which takes place during our Heart House Ministry the last Sunday of the month. Harp & Bowl is a time where singers and musicians come together with intercessors to pray the scriptures and to intercede before the throne. The term Harp & Bowl comes from Revelation 5:8:
"The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation.” (Rev. 5:8–9)

Sunday Prayer
Join us on Sunday Mornings at 9:30am as we seek God's direction & desires for our church services, and also offering our intercession to Him. Intercession means talking to God on behalf of others. Everyone is welcome!
We also offer other prayer meetings throughout the year, usually announced as a more spontaneous event.
