We are a church committed to pursuing a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe the Christian life is not sustained by discipline or theology alone, but by the living work of the Holy Spirit breathing life into the Word of God and our faith in Him.

Our theology is charismatic in conviction and rooted in the historic faith of the Church. We affirm the creeds and value the wisdom of orthodox Christian doctrine throughout history, while also believing that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active and available today. For us, it is not Word or Spirit—it is Word and Spirit together.

We believe worship is a daily encounter with God's word & His Spirit. When we gather together, our worship should be intimate, authentic, and expressive—never a passive performance on a Sunday morning. We make it our aim for God's Spirit to have full freedom to do as He wills among us. Our gathering on Sundays is simply the overflow of a daily life with God through Scripture, prayer, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

As we pursue God together, we are formed into disciples who love one another deeply and serve our community faithfully. The natural result of this kind of life with Christ is that we reach the lost, build meaningful relationships, and teach others to walk with Jesus as well.

​

Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Our first birth gave us physical life; the new birth gives us spiritual life and membership in God’s family (John 1:13). To be born again is to have the Holy Spirit transform our hearts from indifference and hostility toward God to a love of God and a desire for righteousness and holiness. The only way one can come to God and experience what it means to be “born again” is through repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ; read John 14:6. The Bible clearly teaches in Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5, and Romans 10:13 that salvation is a gift; it cannot be earned in any way.

To receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord means more than accepting Him as a fact of history, a teacher, or an example. It means more than giving mental assent to the fact that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world. It means that one turns from sin and with his or her whole heart trusts in Christ as personal Savior and Lord. God makes that one a new person; see 2 Corinthians 5:17. The Bible says, “To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).

Steps to Receive Christ

Admit your need: Recognize that you have sinned and need God’s forgiveness in your life.

​

Believe in Jesus: Trust that God loves you and sent Jesus Christ to pay for your wrongdoings on the cross.

​

Turn away from sin: Be ready to turn away from bad habits, choices, character issues, etc and let Jesus guide your daily choices.

​

Pray in faith: Talk to God directly with a simple prayer of commitment
